Discharge Measurements of Lake Apopka Gourdneck Spring
Lake Apopka Gourdneck Spring, Lake County, FL, 1997-present; St. Johns River Water Management District.

Performing monthly discharge measurements within Lake Apopka Gourdneck Spring at a cross-section of the conduit below the level of the lake bottom with flowmeter adapted for underwater use.

Perform quarterly discharge measurements within Island Spring at a cross-section of the conduit below the level of the Wekiva River bottom with flowmeter adapted for underwater use.

Underwater Springs Discharge Measurements of Rodman Reservoir Springs
Rodman Reservoir/Ocklawaha River, Marion County, FL, 2007-2008; St. Johns River Water Management District.

Conducted the first U/W discharge measurements of selected springs in the Rodman Reservoir during both full pool and drawdown conditions.  A total of 4 springs were measured, including Marion Blue, Bright Angel, Catfish and Fishhook Springs.

Discharge Measurements and Sampling at Silver Springs; Mammoth Spring and Other Springs
Silver Spring, Marion County, FL, 2007; St. Johns River Water Management District.

Perform discharge measurements at Mammoth Spring and two smaller springs, with a flowmeter adapted for underwater use.  Assist District and USGS personnel with water sampling at these and various other spring vents within the Silver Springs Group.  Locate, document and sample additional springs in boat channels and boathouse area.

Conducted the first comprehensive U/W discharge measurements of all springs in Merritt’s Mill Pond.  A total of 6 springs were measured, including Jackson Blue, Shangri-La, Twin Caves and Hole-in-the-Wall Springs.



Semi-Annual Discharge and Water Level Measurements; Ginnie, Dogwood and Little Devil’s Springs

Gilchrist County, FL. 1998 to present; for CCDA Waters, LLC.

Take semi-annual measurements of three springs, and measure water levels of local well network and two gauge stations developed by KES.

Silver Springs Spring Vent Documentation and Discharge Measurements
Silver Springs, Marion County, FL, 2006; St. Johns River Water Management District.

As part of the first comprehensive collection of data from the various springs that constitute the Silver Springs Group, U/W discharge measurements were made at all suitable spring vent cross-sections and small vents.  A total of 23 springs/spring groups were measured.

Investigate Silver Spring Main Spring to delineate multiple groundwater sources and create video record.  Perform discharge measurements at the vent cross-sections of the Silver Spring Main Spring, and Catfish Reception Hall Spring in the Silver River, with a flowmeter adapted for underwater use.  Assist District personnel with water sampling at these and various other spring vents within the Silver River.

Discharge Measurements of Crystal Beach Spring
Crystal Beach Spring, Pinellas County, FL, 2003-2004; Southwest Florida Water Management District.

Performed three separate discharge measurements within Crystal Beach Spring at a cross-section of the conduit below the level of the ocean bottom with flowmeter adapted for underwater use.

Discharge Measurements of Various Springs
Welaka, Blue Springs State Park and Wekiva Falls, FL, 2001; St. Johns River Water Management District.

Perform discharge measurements within Welaka Spring (Putnam County), Blue Springs (Volusia County) and Wekiva Falls (Lake County) with flowmeter adapted for underwater use.

Discharge Measurements; Ginnie Springs Group and Santa Fe River

Routine open channel flow measurements were made of the Ginnie Springs Group springs and Santa Fe River over a three-year period as part of data collection necessary for development of Consumptive Use Permit needed for water bottling operations.
